In the GFL, last place is not just a failure — it’s a spectacle. To preserve the competitive spirit and keep managers fully engaged, a series of league-voted punishments are enforced each season for the last-place finisher.
1. The Golden Chooch
The manager who finishes dead last in the standings will be awarded “The Golden Chooch” — a golden toilet seat to be engraved and brought to every in-person draft and any official GFL watch party. Failure to bring The Golden Chooch to league events will result in fines or an additional punishment at the Commish's discretion.
2. The Punishment
In addition to receiving The Golden Chooch, the loser must complete one punishment from the following pool. The specific punishment can be chosen by the loser themselves.
A. “Tight Five” – Open Mic Stand-Up Night
Last-place finisher must perform a 3–5 minute stand-up routine at a public open mic.
Must include jokes about their own fantasy failures.
At least one roast line submitted by another GFL member must be used.
Must wear a themed T-shirt (e.g., Fantasy Fraud, I Drafted Bryce Young in Superflex).
Performance must be filmed and posted in the group chat.
B. League Cameo Message
Loser must pay for a Cameo video from a celebrity, athlete, or former NFL player voted on by the league.
Cameo script must include reference to the loser’s fantasy team, their worst blunder, and acknowledgment of their failure.
The video must be posted in the group chat and played at the following draft party.
Suggested options: Johnny Manziel, Antonio Brown, Terrell Owens, Rob Riggle, etc.
C. Denny’s 24-Hour Challenge
The loser must spend 24 hours in a Denny’s (or Waffle House).
Each pancake, waffle, or full breakfast plate eaten reduces the sentence by 1 hour.
Must arrive solo, timestamp entry, and update the league group chat hourly.
Meal photos must include timestamps.
Bathroom breaks allowed. Napping is not.
D. “Hot Ones” Challenge
The loser must eat 10 increasingly spicy wings while answering 10 trash talk questions submitted by league members.
Each wing = one question.
Must wear an NFL jersey during the challenge.
Milk is allowed but highly discouraged (and will be mocked).
Must be filmed in one sitting and shared with the league.
Failure to finish = an additional punishment from the list (voted by league).
